Hammerlund Inc. was established in 1989 in Grand Rapids, MN by Tom Hammerlund Sr. At that time Tom Sr. began his journey with a dump truck and an excavator. In the early 1990’s Tom Hammerlund Jr. became part owner working alongside his father. Underground Utilities, Municipal Street Construction, and Residential Development made up much of Hammerlund Inc.’s work load.
From that time, Hammerlund Inc. has grown and developed into a full service General Contractor serving Northern Minnesota and much of the Iron Range.
