Recognizing early on the impact GPS can have on an earthmoving operation, Hammerlund has embraced the technology, outfitting a good portion of our fleet with the latest in GPS-based machine control systems and running it all through cutting-edge base stations. We couple that effort with a staff of highly-trained field technicians and earthwork superintendents, proficient in grade staking, three-dimensional modeling, volumetric take offs and more. The net result of doing so is dramatically increased onsite efficiencies—savings we pass directly on to our clients.
